Revolutionary War Period Fashions: What Did Betsy Ross Wear? will be presented by Karen Ren Antonowicz on Monday, May 18 at 7:00 PM at Tockwotton on the Waterfront, 500 Waterfront Drive, East Providence.
This engaging program will examine the clothing worn by American colonists from their arrival through the 18th century, offering insight into everyday fashion during the period. Attendees will also gain a deeper appreciation for how garments were constructed before the invention of the sewing machine, including a demonstration of period techniques.
